If you think you could, you would

After last week's run, I decided to push the envelope a bit more. I haven't done any distance longer running than 5km, so today I've decided, WTF, I'll might just run 10km to gauge how fit I am. It turned out to be a rather long run, wait, make it run/walk/run/walk. I finished the course in 1:17, which is miserable by any standards even for a first try. But as long as I am still standing after it, I guess I could just improve upon it.

Also had another go at the pool today, just to build up the endurance and guess what, still a lot more improvement can be done there. So hopefully with these baby steps, I could see more substantial improvement in the future.

ps. also hope that the 10km run would atone my sins of having satay 4 days in a row due to open houses, not forgetting nasi beriyani, nasi mandie, nasi minyak, char kuey teow and the list goes on...
