Total Makeover!!!!

Not me-lah, its my car. I’ve always maintained my cars’ appearance by doing the washing and detailing myself. Its quite a hard thing to do considering I drive a black car and my (former) office is very near a cement factory, hence once it’s nice and shined up o Sunday, it will be covered in dust on Monday. Also the other half parked her ride underneath some trees at her office for shade but ended up being bombed by birds (as if there’s a sign that says bird can poo on this nice shiny red car)

So whilst I was in Meguiars Malaysian office stocking up my detailing arsenal, had a chat with Johan Wong, the Meguiars rep about how to get a detailing clinic done for car clubs. He was pleased with the idea of doing one with my car club, hence when I mooted the idea to the club the outcome was very resounding.

Once all the details have been sorted, it was the matter of gathering the members on the selected date. The plus point is that my car has been chosen for a total makeover. She’s just being given a new coat of paint due to stone chips and now pampered for a total makeover. I had to give my precious to Meguiars for two days for them to prep and detail and only getting her back on the clinic day itself. How did it go?

The pictures speak for themselves. Only that I’m unable to take some before pictures, the difference to me was like night and day. Even though I could produce satisfying results when doing it myself, the ‘professional’ treatment was just outstanding. But from what I’ve been told, there still some more work could be done to it to achieve its maxixmum potential and I’m eagerly waiting for that time.
